De hoofdcoach van Yunde Wushu is Niek op ’t Ende. Niek is/was onder andere:
– Rijkserkend Leraar Martial Arts (LMA-3);
– Internationaal Jurylid van de International Wushu Federation (IWUF, niveau A);
– Lid Jurycommissie van de International Wushu Federation (IWUF) (link);
– Technisch Assistent van de Bondscoach van het Nederlands Wushu Team;
– Voormalig voorzitter van de Jurycommissie van de Wushu Kungfu Federation of Europe (WKFE);
– Hoofdjury op onder andere het WK 2023 en EK 2024;
– Docent Jurycursus van de WKFE
Niek op ’t Ende has practiced Eastern Martial Arts since his early childhood. He started practicing Judo from the age of 4, but being interested in Chinese culture, he wanted to learn Chinese Martial Arts. He started learning Wushu at the age of 14 with master Fei Luliang and since then Wushu is an important part of his life.
Na al een aantal keer in China te hebben getraind, verhuisde Niek in 2007 naar Beijing om Chinees te studeren en leerde hij Shifu An Jian Qiu kennen; een bekende leraar van Traditionele Kung Fu (Ba Ji Quan, Xing Yi Quan en Ba Gua Zhang) en Sanda (Chinees Kickboksen). Tijdens zijn studie trainde Niek een aantal jaar met Shifu An Jian Qiu in Beijing en in vakanties ook met zijn vader (Shiye) An De Sheng in Dezhou (provincie Shandong).

In 2008, Niek obtained his first Judging License from the International Wushu Federation (IWUF). Since then he has judged at many World- and European Championships, is a member of the FOG National Sport Comity (Nationale Commissie Topsport) at the Federatie Oosterse Gevechtskunsten (FOG) and assists the National Team coaches with training the National Wushu Team.
